"Shows the ripeness of the vintage, with juicy strawberry fruit and a pepper note. This is balanced and long, with a chewy, licorice-tinged finish. Drink now through 2018"

"The structure of the wine from this vineyard is generally inferior, in the same years, to San Lorenzo. It offers an intriguing, slightly bitter aftertaste (bitter almond) with the deep purple typical of Dolcetto in this area. Dolcetto is an "everyday table-wine," much loved by local piemontesi. It is a good accompaniment to Piedmont cuisine from appetizers to dessert. It may be cellared for a few years, although too much time will fade its best quality…. youthful freshness."
