"Yarra Valley cabernet sauvignon. When it’s right, it’s a very beautiful thing. Here it’s very right. It tastes of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedarwood and lead pencil/chocolate and has gently herbal/gumleaf notes floating in the background. It’s medium weight but insistent. Most of all, it’s full of charm. The flavours linger appreciably. You can hardly ask for much more. All it needs is a stint in the cellar for it all to be knitted seamlessly."

Dominique Portet Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
"A year filled with sunshine and cool gentle nights helped to ripen this years Cabernet Sauvignon beautifully. It is delightfully approachable, displaying floral aromatics and dark fruits with hints of liquorice and spice. A wine of charm, the oak maturation has developed this wine’s balanced flavour, which will evolve gracefully for many years to come." - Winemaker's Notes
