"Amisfield Pinot Noir is our company's signature wine. This wine is made from 9 clones of pinot noir and grown on several different soil types, this adds to the wines complexit.
This wine has been released at the Amisfield Cellar Door, Bistro & Online only. Our 2010 Pinot Noir has "an intense nose of dark chocolate, black forest cherries & thyme. Complex and deep with a firm tannin backbone".
The wine is deep ruby in colour with a vibrant purp le hue. The complexity of aroma is conducive to dark red fruits. On the palate there is strength suggesting of a bouquet of autumn berry fruits with dark chocolate and earthy undertones. Exceptional to drink now or in 4 – 5 years." Winemaker's Note
