Vajra Langhe Rosso is an introductory red Piemonte wine using indigenous varieties and highlighting the wines that are crafted in this wonderful region. The wine is characterized by juicy fruit, freshness and a good structure, and a high level of approachability. This is a food-friendly wine that is simple but with great personality.
Grape Variety: 20% Nebbiolo 20% for structure, aromaticity and elegance; 30% Dolcetto for its bright red colour, violet hints, primary aromas of fresh fruit and berries; 30% Barbera for additional freshness and fruitiness; 10% Albarossa for its generous ripe fruit and body; 5% Pinot Noir for its synergistic properties with Nebbiolo and adding cherry hints. The blend is subject to minor changes with each vintage.
Vinification: Maceration for 5-10 days at temperatures under 31°C. Aged for 14-16 months in stainless steel prior to bottling.
