750 mL Bottle
"An expressive nose features notes of tidal pool, apricot and peach while introducing rich and relatively concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess a fleshy mouth feel before culminating in a palate coating finish that displays a slight hint of youthful bitterness. This is delicious but not especially vibrant and as such I would advise drinking it on the young side."

Jean-Claude Bessin Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2009
"Almost invisible wood sets off ripe, overtly exotic and relatively dense orchard fruit aromas that are almost like those of a dessert wine. There is a lush and opulent mouth feel to the full-bodied flavors that possess good depth and length on the nicely dry finish. This very forward and generous effort is not typical but it is delicious. It should drink well almost immediately."

"Sourced from vines between 40 and 55 years old, the flagship cuvee is fermented in a mixture of small temperature regulated tanks and old barrels. Bottled after 18 months elevage. Surprisingly ripe and exotic for the vintage it showed ripe orchard stone fruits, orange and a hint of tropical. Strong floral note adding freshness. The palate has the classic Bessin purity and stony minerality but also ripe exotic fruits again. Seems a little atypical and easy at first, but shows immense concentration for an AC Chablis and finishes with long mineral drive and a good acid spine." - Importers Notes
