"A bright, cherry-scented nose here, with saffron and Moroccan spices dusted throughout, some earthy notes, quite fresh and vibrant. The palate delivers smooth, flowing, velvety tannins that carry dark cherry and chocolate flavours; Christmas spice through the finish."
NICK STOCK, GOOD WINE GUIDE
"Quite light colour. Started out smoky and ashy, building lovely ripe fruit of dark cherry to plum persuasion. Soft, smooth, elegant and balanced, and ready to enjoy right now."
HUON HOOKE, huonhooke.com
"Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2010 Estate Pinot Noir has a pretty floral, violet and rose character on the nose, with an underlying core of warm red cherries and red currants plus hints of Provencal herbs and forest floor. Medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with expressive red fruit and earth flavors supported by a low to medium level of finely grained tannins, lively acid. The finish is long and earthy/savory. Delicious now, it should cellar to 2016+."
