Product Description

Opens initially with overt but attractive oak spice and reticent red and dark fruits. Press the nose hard to the glass and the deeper notes of fruit spice and alcohol derived lift add interest. The palate doesn’t suffer quite the same shyness but is very focused and finely structured from start to finish. Dominated by red fruits, with the black fruits only just ripe, it does not come off sweet at all. Add to that the ever-present structure and integrated oak frame and you have a Shiraz which will cellar beautifully for 8-10 years or just needs a vigorous decant and food to shine right now. Nice lick of savoury anise spice to the finish too.
