"Ocean Eight’s ascent to greatness continues here with a decidedly fragrant Pinot Noir. It has aromas of violets, blueberry, vivid cherry and plum, as well as more savoury underlying earth and spice tones. The palate has immediate flesh and weight, showing impressive volume and depth. It lunges through to a vibrant, driving finish which is fresh, silky and balanced. "

Ocean Eight Pinot Noir 2010
"A very stylish and resolved effort. This is the best we've seen to date from this producer, showing lovely ripe red cherry and strawberry fruits amid nicely judged oak, some earthy depth and bright-purple flowers; there's real potential here. The palate has beautifully supple cherry and red plum fruit flavour, with lively acid spark, fine tannins and plenty of flesh on offer. Really even, really convincing, really good pinot."
