Hints of copper in the glass. The bouquet is full of sweet pastry aromas, scents of Williams pear skin and notes of yellow fruit. Extraordinary complexity on the palate expresses ripe fruit together with great structure. A seductive texture, this wine is very long and persistent.
The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed before undergoing a pre-fermentation cold maceration at 8ºC for 20-22 hours. Fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 16-19ºC for a period of 30 days with selected yeast strains. No malolactic fermentation takes place. 100% of the wine was matured on its lees for seven months in oak.
