Vine Stock: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
WHITE VINES: 12 hectares. Wine Stock: Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification:
RED WINES: fermentation in oak barrels.
AGEING: 18 to 24 months in new oak barrels.
FINING: with egg-white.
WHITE WINE: fermentation in oak barrels.
AGEING: 6 to 8 months in oak barrels.
Average annual production:
CHÂTEAU MARGAUX: 130 000 bottles (average production).
PAVILLON ROUGE DU CHÂTEAU MARGAUX: about 130 000 bottles.
PAVILLON BLANC DU CHÂTEAU MARGAUX: about 15 000 bottles.
